Cold Brew

  • 8:1 Ratio
  • 100G of Coarse Coffee
  • 800G of Filtered Water
  • Brew Time: 12 to 16 hours
  • Grind Size: Coarse
  1. Cold Brew is brewed stronger and as a concentrate. We recommend diluting to taste with cold water or ice.
  2. To start place 100G of coarse ground coffee and 800 grams of room temp water in the French press. It is important to make sure the coffee grounds are fully saturated by the water before placing the lid on top.
  3. The next step is to cover the press with the lid, but don’t plunge. You want the coffee to keep extracting and stay in contact with the water during the entire brewing process.
  4. Place French press inside the fridge. Depending on how strong you want your cold brew will determine your total brew time. Place cold brew in the fridge for up to 12-16 hours.
  5. Once you’re ready to enjoy your cold brew, just plunge the strainer down and pour out the cold brew into a separate decanter.
  6. The cold brew will be strong so please dilute to taste with cold water or ice. Enjoy.

Adjusting Grind:
Too Slow & Little Yield
Adjust grind coarser will make the shot run faster, giving you more volume in the same amount of time.
Too Fast & Large Yield
Adjust grind finer will slow down your shot, resulting in less volume in the same amount of time.
